Class 4 ( Years 5 & 6) at Spofforth
The teacher for Class 4 is Mrs Clarke.
A welcome message from your teacher
Welcome to the Class 4 page!
My name is Mrs Clarke and I am the Class 4 teacher. When I am not in school, I love baking and reading lots of books. Mrs Stephens also works in our classroom. In her spare time, Mrs Stephens loves yoga, sailing and reading.
We have lots of fun in Class 4 and as you are now more independent with your learning, you are able to do lots of experimenting and exploring for yourself. This is a great way to learn. It is also a big responsibility being at the top of the School as all the younger children look up to you but we are sure that you will be an excellent role model.
Trainee teacher joining Class 4 in September.
Hello Class 4, my name is Miss Dickson and I am a trainee teacher who will be with your class from September to December 2020. A trainee teacher means I’m learning, just like you, how to be a teacher, like Mrs Clarke. I live just down the road in Harrogate and when I’m not in school I enjoy running, walking my dog and seeing friends. I am really looking forward to starting in September and getting to know you all.

Learning to Live with Covid 19
We are all learning to live in a world with COVID19. Part of helping children adjust to this is helping them understand and make sense of it. This guide produced by the children’s commissionaire contains child friendly explanations and links to advice, support and activities to help children make this adjustment. Staff will be using aspects of it in school and parents may like to use parts of this with their children or simply be aware of some of the ideas and suggestions.
