Now in its 10th year this competition is for children aged 5-13 and it’s super simple. All entrants must pen an original story, no more than 500 words in length, and submit it online. It can be about ANYTHING you want – space-ships, grannies, insects, time travel. The list is endless! Perhaps a story about your school topic or linked from an idea in a book you are reading. Stories are judged anonymously, without regard to grammar, punctuation or spelling. There is a whole host of information and ideas that can be found at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00rfvk1. If any children would like to share their stories with us before submitting to get any tips or feedback we would love to see and hear them. We can also help by submitting your entries on your behalf if you need help with this. We will need you parents permission to do this so if this is the case please come and have a chat with Mr Griffiths.  The closing date for entries is Thursday 27th February at 8pm. Check out the website above and happy writing.
