Parent Consultations

Please find below a table detailing timings throughout the year of Parent Consultation Evenings together with more information on how you can find out how your child is progessing:

| Autumn Term | Individual consultation meetings with opportunity to look at pupils work before, during and after appointments. | Discuss how children have started year and settled. Yr. 1 discuss and share early Autumn assessments. Provide a chance for individual conversations within the Autumn term. |
| Spring Term | Individual consultation meetings with opportunity to look at pupils work before, during and after appointments. | Best time in order to give accurate assessment information collected at the end of the previous full term and outline next steps in learning to be acted upon in the term ahead. |
| Summer Term | Individual meetings to discuss reports by appointment only if needed. | Clarify any issues from reports. |
Other ways that are available are:
· Meet the teacher – September drop in to meet your child’s class teacher – see how they have settled and initial pieces of work.
· Annual written report
. Sharing Assembly
. Class Worshops
· Parent sessions – e.g. maths and phonics.
· Parent guides e.g. calculation guides
· ‘Open door policy’ – meet with class teachers by appointment throughout the year as needed.
· Termly Class Learning Newsletters.
