We have been delighted to unpack and start putting to good use our new reading books that have arrived over the last week or so.

Teams from both schools enjoyed a super start to this half terms Wednesday night competition series hosted at Harrogate High tonight.

On Wednesday 4th March we were fortunate to have Mrs Heley, our new visiting woodwind teacher, lead an assembly to show us a variety of woodwind instruments.

We were delighted to take delivery of our new giant timelines to help us with our history curriculum learning.

The half term concluded with a super music assembly on Friday 14th February with a range of group and solo performances including a live DJ set, recorder groups and piano solos.

On Class 2’s visit to Harlow Carr  we learned about:  tropical plants; the farming of cocoa and fair trade; reusing of discarded objects.  We had a great time and learned lots!  

Having won their first round event we were delighted to take up our place at the partnership finals of the Key Steps Two gymnastics competition on Thursday afternoon.

The final week of our tchoukball competition series saw our Federation team flourish with three wins and a narrorw defeat.

We were delighted to welcome Yorkshire cricketer Jonathan Tattersall to school today to talk about his experience of being a professional cricketer

Week five saw a packed fixture schedule squeezing in five matches altogether.
