Christmas Stay & Play
The Early Years team ran another very attended sucessful Stay & Play session on Wednesday morning welcoming parents into our Early Years class to see learning in action.
Children Learn First-hand about Hanukah
On Monday we were delighted to welcome one of our parents Mrs Grant into school to talk to us all about the Jewish festival of Hanukah.
Castle Community Carols
On Friday 13th December a large crowd from our community gathered to join us in our community carol singing at the Castle ruins.
Nativity performances
Children from both schools performed their nativities in two fabulous performances this week, ‘I’m Gonna Shine’ at Follifoot and ‘Mary’s Knitting’ at Spofforth.
Double Dodgeball Success
The Federation was proud to send two teams, one from each school to the Harrogate Sports Partnership Small Schools Dodgeball competition on Thursday.
Final Week Festive Football Fun
We rounded off the final week of the Year 3 & 4 football competition series with Sporting Influence in style under the floodlights at Harrogate High.
Ho Ho Ho – Christmas Reading Challenge
As we head towards the many upcoming Christmas events Harrogate Library are helping remind us how important it is to keep up with our reading during term and holiday time.
St Nicholas Services
Children took their collective worship to their local churches on Thursday 5th December, as part of our programme for our services over the Christmas period.
Trip to the Royal Armouries
On Monday 2nd December, Year 1 & 2 from both our schools went to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.
Competition Series Week Two
Our Year 3 & 4 football competition series continued on Wednesday in the warmth of the Harrogate High Sports Hall.
