Guide Dogs Fundraiser
Florence, Eleanor and Olive in Class 2 raised a total of £72.00 for Guide Dogs from their skipping challenge in school and selling bracelets and bookmarks.
It was all totally their own idea and all the children really seemed to get behind the cause so a big thank you to everyone as they raised a fantastic amount!
Remembrance
The children from Follifoot were invited to the church to see the beautiful display of poppies created for Remembrance Day. The children were very respectful and interested; asking lots of questions and wanting to find out more about the local residents who lost their lives during the wars.
Thank you to Sally and Kath for sharing their knowledge with us.
Football Competition
Years 3&4 had a lovely day on Tuesday 7th November. The children played well and really enjoyed themselves. We came fourth overall and Harrison won our wristband for encouraging others and being determined.
Eden Camp Trip
Years 5 and 6 across the Federation enjoyed their visit to Eden Camp. The children were respectful and interested; learning all about World War 2 and asking lots of questions.
High Five Netball Tournament
Years 5 and 6 across the federation attended a High Five Netball tournament organised by Sporting Influence. We had a great morning with Spofforth finishing first and Follifoot second.
