Spofforth School Council are embarking on a school composting adventure! They have provided each class, the staffroom and the playground with a compost bin. We put our banana skins, orange peel, tea bags and shredded paper into the compost bins. Our Compost Warriors empty them into our big compost bin, where they will break down (with the help of worms and beasties) into compost, which we will then use to grow lovely flowers around the school.
