Governors
Our Governing Body
Our Governors play a vital role in overseeing the strategic direction and overall performance of the school. They work as part of a governing body to ensure that the school provides high-quality education and meets statutory requirements.
Their responsibilities include setting the school’s vision and values, approving budgets, monitoring financial performance, and holding the headteacher accountable for educational outcomes and staff management.
Governors also help shape policies, review safeguarding measures, and engage with parents and the local community to ensure the school reflects their needs.
While they do not manage day-to-day operations, they act as critical friends—supporting and challenging the leadership to drive continuous improvement.
