Follifoot Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone joined in our Easter Egg Hunt on the last day of term. The children decorated an egg template and these were hidden in the front garden. Once found, the children received a chocolate egg from Mr Lakin.
Easter Garden
Class one at Spofforth made their own Easter garden in the sunshine after reading the story ‘Puddles and the Happy Easter Day’
Spofforth School’s Easter Celebrations
Thank you to all parents that attended our Easter celebration this week. The children performed fabulously bringing a lovely church to life with song, poetry and thoughtful and reflective readings at this special time. My thanks to the teachers, parents and of course the pupils for the hard work and efforts to make the occasion such a success. This was quickly followed by Mr Lakin and Reverend Barbara who judged the Easter Egg design competition, such amazing designs, the decisions were really tough, my congratulations to all.
Follifoot School’s Easter Service and Egg Rolling
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the wonderful Easter service at St Joseph and St James Church in Follifoot this morning. We enjoyed poetry, art and songs – including a performance from the school choir. Obviously, we finished the service with the traditional rendition of ‘Spring Chicken’, including dance moves!
After the service, we returned to school for one of the highlights of the year – Egg Rolling!
